Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Blasting Certificate in fiery mines
- Competent A Person
- Gas Testing
- Flameproof Certificate for supervisors
- Computer literate and Microsoft Office suite
- Have good communication skills. Able to read, talk, write and understand English.
- Must be able to obtain a certificate of fitness for working underground.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting start of shift waiting place procedure i.e. Safety meetings and general meetings.
- Compliance to Mine Health and Safety Act,
- Identify inefficiencies and provide improvements,
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards,
- Ensure that daily targets are met by providing leadership to the team,
- Control costs by minimising material loses,
- Stone Dust Application
- SHE compliance to achieve ZERO harm.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in this position.
