At Stenda, we are passionate about supporting initiatives that uplift and empower the youth — especially those that blend creativity, community, and development. That’s why we were proud to support the “Art Meets Sports” Youth Day event hosted by Elevation Youth Development NPC, an organisation dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential since 2025.
Held on June 16, the event celebrated the spirit of Youth Day through a powerful fusion of artistic expression and athletic energy. The day featured a poetry slam centred on youth activism and social justice, a vibrant photography exhibition capturing the story of South Africa’s past, present, and future, along with youth-led musical and dance performances.
Adding to the excitement were netball and soccer matches between the older and younger youth groups — fostering connection, teamwork, and celebration across generations.
To reward the incredible talent on display, participants were awarded prizes, including cash rewards, trophies, certificates, and camera equipment — all aimed at encouraging continued excellence and creativity.
