STENDA TRADING (PTY) LTD Is seeking to appoint a Shift Supervisor
Minimum qualification Requirements:
- 3-5 years coal mining experience
- Competent A
- At least 1 year supervisory experience
- Computer literate
- Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous
- Supervisory qualifications will be advantageous
- Knowledge of Operational requirements
- Knowledge of workplace agreements and work practices.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the Operations Manager, determine the daily operational requirements and priorities and ensure their achievement
- Plan and co-ordinate shift in accordance with the requirements.
- Attend to all specific paperwork, e.g. time sheets / job cards, etc.
- Ensure Staff time sheets are completed and submitted to the manager
- Ensure loading process is in order
- Ensure your shifts staff is clocking in and out and timesheets are completed correctly
- Ensure Reports and handovers are up to standard
- Ensure documents from the trucks are checked before they are signed
- Ensure all breakdowns are reported to the manager
- Liaise with Admin / General Workers, Stockpile Controllers, Spotters and FEL Operators of progress/problems during the shift.
